Terms of Service - ScreenAI

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using ScreenAI ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Platform. ScreenAI reserves the right to update these terms at any time with notice provided via email or on the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have a permissible purpose under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) to use our tenant screening services. Permissible purposes include evaluating a prospective tenant for a residential rental transaction.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

4. FCRA Compliance

By using the Platform, you certify that you will use screening reports only for permissible purposes under the FCRA. You agree to provide adverse action notices to applicants when required. You will not discriminate against applicants based on protected characteristics. Violation of FCRA requirements may result in immediate account termination and legal liability.

5. Screening Services

Screening reports are provided through our partners (RentPrep, TransUnion, TazWorks) and are subject to their terms and availability. We do not guarantee the completeness or accuracy of third-party data. Reports are provided for informational purposes to assist in rental decisions.

6. Payment Terms

Screening fees are charged per report as listed on our pricing page. All fees are non-refundable once a screening report has been initiated. We accept major credit cards and process payments securely through our payment provider.

7. Limitation of Liability

ScreenAI provides screening tools and data to assist in rental decisions. We are not liable for decisions made based on screening reports. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for the specific screening service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these terms, FCRA non-compliance, or fraudulent activity. You may close your account at any time by contacting support@screenai.us.
